Sound Baths and Acoustic Induced Meditation

A sound bath, sometimes referred to as acoustic induced meditation is a deep meditative experience that encourages relaxation, mental expansion and rejuvenation on every level. Think of a sound bath as "sonic massage" that works on energizing your mind and body, leaving you refreshed and with a renewed sense of alignment and balance.

A sound bath can be experienced in a sitting position or laying in savasana (a yoga position of laying flat on your back) in either a private or group setting. As the waves of sound travel throughout the room you will experience what is called full body listening. You are not just hearing the sounds with your ears but absorbing the sound waves throughout your whole body, helping to restore harmony to the mind, body and spirit. By utilizing specific sounds and frequencies, a sound bath may also shift the listener's brainwave state from the normal, highly alert Beta state to the more relaxed Alpha state, meditative Theta state and deep trance Delta state. These powerful vibrations stimulate the mind and body to help awaken your divine spirit, relieve stress and shift you into a more relaxed state of being.

"Sound and Resonance is the common denominator of spirituality & creation; it connects us and leads us towards higher Consciousness."

Michael Tellinger
